Fairbairn’s bilingual digital and paper educational package describing local history and aimed at the elementary level is set to go live early in 2019. This unique program, developed in 2018, offers students exposure to local heritage, reinforcing their sense of belonging and helping them to better understand their environment.

RARE BEASTS EXHIBIT
Presenting a series of twenty works, inspired by illuminated medieval manuscripts, of twenty heritage farm animals in danger of disappearing. “The aim of this exhibition is to provoke a debate about the consequences of the disappearance of these breeds which form our agricultural heritage,” says artist Alyson Champ.
Art exhibit to appear on the ground and upper floors of the Main house Opening Day (June 22).
‘Diversity’ will bring to life a number of cultural and regional communities from across Quebec. Our own region is highlighted with Norma Geggie, the Memorial Hospital and early health care being featured.
