guest speaker:  Karen Bays presents “Quilting Through the Years”

Today’s quilting activity is deeply rooted in the settlement of early Canada and the Gatineau is rich in quilting history and tradition. Quilts have play a role in survival, community building, and creativity throughout our area and over the decades. Quilters came from all social, economic, and cultural backgrounds and one might say they had an important role in sewing our communities together.  Learn and celebrate this rich heritage.
