Driving directions to the Fairbairn House Heritage Centre from Ottawa/Gatineau
Follow Route A5 north to the end. Turn left onto route 105 at the traffic lights. Continue past Wakefield, along the 4-lane bypass, to the traffic lights (at the bottom of the steep hill). Continue straight ahead (past the MCR police station on the left) along route 366 across the bridge over the Gatineau River. At the end of the bridge turn right onto Wakefield Heights Road. The Maison Fairbairn House Heritage Centre is located about 200 m on the left, just before the Wakefield Covered Bridge. Distance is approximately 35km from the MacDonald Cartier Bridge over the Ottawa River.
