Volunteers are the heart of our success

Volunteers help make the Maison Fairbairn House Heritage Centre a reality - they are essential for us to reach our goal! The Heritage Centre team is looking for help in all areas of the project. For example, individuals, businesses and organizations can help with:

Planning
Special events
Communications
Sponsoring an event
Funding a drive
Construction
Community Outreach
Regional involvement
Programming
Exhibits
Gardening
Activities for children and youths
Business opportunities

Donations

Supporters of the project can make out a cheque to the order of the Municipality of La Pêche for any amount they wish. In the memo section, please write "Maison Fairbairn House" in order to receive a tax deductible receipt for any donation of $10 or more.

Show your support by downloading the Donation Form, and sending it back along with your payment. You can become a supporter of the project in any of these categories:

A Fairbairn Founder makes a very substantial donation of $15,000 or more. Founders' names will be permanently displayed on a special Founders Wall in the lobby of the Centre, and they will enjoy a variety of privileges and special access to the premises, as well as increased means of visibility, when the House is open for business.

A Fairbairn Partner gives generous support through donations ranging from $1000 to $14,999 and will have special recognition on the Partners Wall, as well as access to the Centre and its grounds for promotional events and business displays.

A Fairbairn Friend donates amounts ranging from $10 to $999 and will have his/her name recorded in the Builder's Book on permanent display in the lobby of the Centre. A Friend will be encouraged to become a life member of the project and to walk into the future with organizers when the Centre begins to operate.
